With pumpkins galore and Halloween already over, fall season has truly set in. I can’t believe it is already November. It might seem crazy, but even though we don’t really get the typical wide range of auburn colored leaves, it does tend to (slightly) cool off at the end of the year. With shorter daylight I do love to use this time to make heartier meals, drink lots of tea, hot chocolate, apple cider and spiced lattes and just comfortably sink into one of our sofas with a blankie at night while watching a movie with the family. To flow right into the cozy season, I have gathered some really nice picks for you all. So do read on and get inspired and ready to take on fall with these mouthwatering recipes, on trend home decoration ideas, protective skin care tips, latest cookbooks and more.
WHAT PRODUCE IS IN SEASON?
For environmental and health reasons I’m focusing more and more on the in-season fruits and veggies that are preferably local and organic, though I might still use some out of season frozen fruits occasionally. What we can’t grow on the island, we will import as certain produce in this time of the year needs a cooler climate to thrive. So what exactly is IN season right now? Have a look at this link on Saveur and this one on PopSugar.
